In a season in which Northfield’s varsity softball team moved forward with nearly an entirely new roster from last season’s state champion as well as a new face in leadership in Kyle France, the Norse took a step forward for what they hope to be a bright future.
For Northfield head coach Kyle France, the biggest turning point of the season came in the middle of May during the Queen of Diamonds tournament when the Norse faced off in narrow contests against Glenn and LaVille.
