Manchester University Athletics and the MU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) were honored to hold its awards reception β the Manny Awards βin the Upper Jo Young Switzer Center on Monday, May 9. Meeting in person for the awards reception for the first time in three years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Manchester recognized some of its top student-athletes for their outstanding accomplishments on the field and in the classroom during the 2021-22 academic year.
Junior distance runner Enrique Salazar, from Plymouth, and fifth-year distance runner Elizabeth Lohman, from Fort Wayne and Carroll High School, were named the Manchester University Athletics Male and Female Athletes of the Year.
