The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the tournament bracket for this year’s women’s basketball conference tournament on Sunday, Feb. 21. Using a blind draw format to construct this year’s conference tournament bracket, the Manchester University Spartans were awarded the no. 4 seed.
The Black and Gold will take on no. 5 seed Transylvania in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 3 in Stauffer-Wolfe Arena. Manchester and Transylvania did not meet during the regular season. The Pioneers were last year’s HCAC Tournament champions.
