American Idol contestant and Wabash native Zachariah Smith returned to his hometown this week, just prior to traveling to Hollywood to compete in the hit show and graced several area schools, as well as Eagles Theater.
Thursday afternoon, Smith performed a set of five songs at Wabash Junior/Senior High School and spoke with students and faculty in attendance about his own experience at the school and growing up in Wabash.
