MCS to begin strategic planning process

by Rob Burgess - rburgess@wabashplaindealer.com

The Manchester Community Schools (MCS) Board of Trustees will meet for a public work session at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24 at the MCS Administration Office, 404 W. Ninth St., North Manchester, according to a public notice issued by Missi Walt, MCS executive secretary.

In response to a Plain Dealer request, Teresa Gremaux, MCS superintendent, stated the reason for the meeting.

“The work session will begin the strategic planning process. The public is invited to participate in this process,” she stated.

When asked for more details about the process, Gremaux stated she would be able to provide that information at a later date.

“I would be glad to do that after I roll it out next week. I want the board and our staff to be the first to know the process we will use to plan for the future of our schools,” she stated.
