by Rob Burgess - rburgess@wabashplaindealer.com

The suspect in the alleged thefts and robberies of vehicles and handguns over the weekend was charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor offenses on Wednesday.

An overnight search ended Saturday when Trevor J. Miller, of Wabash, was arrested by Wabash County Sheriff’s Department (WCSD) officers, after he was held at gunpoint by the family member of a potential third victim, according to Sheriff Ryan Baker.

Wabash County Prosecutor William Calhoun Hartley charged Miller with four felonies (two charges of theft of an entire automobile, burglary and felon carrying a handgun who has a prior felony conviction within the last 15 years) and two misdemeanors (conversion and carrying a handgun without a license).

The initial hearing has been scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday before Judge Robert R. McCallen III.
