Asbury Country Church

On Sunday, Sept. 8, worship services at Asbury Country Church will be at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday school will be at 9:30 a.m. The worship leader will be Amy Bullick, the music leader will be Mel Hoover and piano music will be by Roger Marine. The morning message from Pastor Mike Bullick will be “What a View We Have.”

Christ United Methodist Church

On Sunday, Sept. 8, worship services at Christ United Methodist Church, 477 N Wabash St., are at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday school for all ages is at 9 a.m. Pastor Chris Tiedeman’s sermon is from Philemon 1-21 titled, “How Do You Solve a Problem like Koinonia?” Check us out at wabashchristumc.org or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ChristUMCWabash/.

Congregational Christian Church

The Congregational Christian Church, 310 N. Walnut Street, North Manchester, announces a change in their worship schedule. Beginning Sunday, Sept. 8, worship services will be held at 10 a.m. with small groups and fellowship time beginning at 9 a.m. Children’s church for children ages kindergarten through sixth grade will be held during the worship service. Lessons, games, crafts and other activities will allow children to build relationships with Jesus and each other. Special events will be held periodically to celebrate Jesus. The nursery is available from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for those who are 4 years and under. Family Sunday will be held on the third Sunday of each month, which is also Open Communion Sunday. Pastor Sebrena Cline and Pastor Andrew Burch serve the Congregational Christian Church each Sunday through music, message, storytelling, prayer and sharing God’s Word. First Church of God

On Sunday, Sept. 8 at First Church of God, 525 N. Miami St., at the 10:30 a.m. worship service, Pastor Robb Rensberger’s sermon is titled, “Where Do You Go for ... Wisdom?” Sunday Servants are Pastor Robb Rensberger, chairperson; Sherry Whitt, worship; Chris Sands, special music; Nancy Kolb, organ; and Rose Sands, piano.

First United Methodist Church

On Sunday, Sept. 8 at First United Methodist Church, 110 Cass St., worship services will be at 8 and 10 a.m., with a coffee hour following the later service. At the 8 a.m. service, the prelude and postlude will be played by Kathy Geible, and the opening prayer and scripture reading will be by Pastor Nathan Whybrew. At both the 8 and 10 a.m. services, the children’s message will be by Jon Higgins, the scriptures will be Psalm 24:1-2 and Genesis 1:28 and the sermon will be, “Why We Give, Part 1.” At the 10 a.m. service, the prelude and postlude will be by Susan Vanlandingham, the opening prayer and scripture reading will be by Herb Mullen and music will be by Chancel Choir. Roann United Methodist Church

On Sunday, Sept. 8 at Roann United Methodist Church, the church service will be at 9 a.m. and Sunday school will be at 10:15 a.m. The greeters will be Mark and Tami Vigar and the worship leader will be Doug Bogert. Pastor Wayne E. Balmer’s sermon is from Matthew 13:47-52 and is titled, “The Net.” It will be Noisy Bucket Sunday.
