Time for Takin' It To The Streets

Organized by Wabash Marketplace, the streets of downtown Wabash will be buzzing with shoppers during the 6th Annual Takin’ It to The Streets Sidewalk Sales, according to a Tuesday press release from Andrea Zwiebel, project coordinator.

This two-day event will take place Friday, Aug. 16 and Saturday, Aug. 17 throughout downtown Wabash.

Many shops throughout downtown Wabash will be hosting clearance sales on a variety of items such as unique boutique clothing, books, antiques and more.

Also occurring in downtown Wabash during this event will be: the Wabash Farmers’ Market, Dave Kunkel Cruise-In at the Honeywell Center and Wabash Garden Fest at Paradise Spring Historical Park.

Trolley No. 85 will be offering free rides in downtown.

The Farmers’ Market will be located on Miami Street, including fresh produce, gourmet candies, baked goods, and handmade items such as soap and furniture.

The new Wings at Wabash mural will be dedicated at 10 a.m., including a butterfly release from the Monarch Mommas of Marion.
