The Wabash Farmers’ Market is returning to the corner of Market and Cass streets this Saturday and will stick around until mid-October.

Organized by Wabash Marketplace Inc. and sponsored by Parkview Wabash Hospital, the farmers’ market is a weekly community market where locals sell their fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, homemade goods, plants and artisan wares. Guests of the farmers’ market can expect to see furry friends, as the market is pet friendly, and can also anticipate activities for kids, families, as well as food trucks and live music. According to Marketing Coordinator Andrea Zwiebel, the farmers’ market is team is also excited to be an official SNAP, WIC, and Senior Farmers’ Market voucher provider this year.

“Wabash Farmers’ Market has become a weekly attraction for residents of Wabash and surrounding counties. We look forward to continuing the tradition,” stated Kryston Henderson, Market Master for the 2019 Season.

Vendors are still being accepted for full season, half season, and one-time rates, according to Zwiebel.
