Wabash man hurt in cycle crash

A Wabash man, injured Thursday when he crashed his motorcycle, was flown to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
The man, Samuel Handy, 33, had head and ankle injuries, and a condition report was not yet available at the hospital.
The accident occurred about 9 a.m. near 3462 S. Bailey Road.
The Wabash County Sheriff's Department said Handy, southbound, lost control of his motorcycle and went down. He was not wearing a helmet.
Assisting at the scene were Wabash Fire Department Ambulance personnel, Noble Township first responders, and the Wabash County Emergency Management Agency.
